We're very pleased to announce that our baby is born!

We're still a little in shock from how huge he was! Who would have ever thought that two people our size would produce an 8lb 11oz baby?? We stayed in the hospital for 2 days after he was born and have been home recovering since Thursday night. Samuel and I are both doing well, however Eric has been pretty sick. He hadn't gotten much sleep the night before Samuel was born and hasn't exactly had much of a chance to catch up since then. Consequently he contracted a pretty wicked cold. I went to the drug store this morning and bought just about everything they had that said cough or cold on it. The clerk was a little surprised to find out that we'd had a baby earlier this week and I was the one out at the pharmacy :P He's doing a bit better now and hopefully we can help him kick it before the end of the weekend when he has to go back to real life. Anyways, I'll post more details on the birth once I finish typing up that entry, but we wanted to let everyone know that Samuel is here! We're so excited to have him as part of our family :)
